Zhang Xiong Art correspondence (Dictation/Lao Pu, Artcile/ Yi Jingshen)  Lao Pu, Ba Qiu and Wang Yifeng Joint Art Exhibition will be opened tomorrow at Zhang Xiong Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. As a staff of the Academy, I have been looking forward to the exhibition. Today the three artists arrived at Xiamen very early. I also feel honored to make this interview with Mr. Lao Pu. Lao Pu feels as peaceful, easygoing, refined and elegant as his works.

Zhang Xiong Art: How many times have you been to Xiamen? Why do you choose Xiamen to hold your exhibition this time?

Lao Pu: “The first time I came to Xiamen is last summer when a gallery owner invited me to make a program on art collection appreciation. Xiamen feels quite good, either its natural scenery, geography, or historical culture  are all impressive. It’s a city suit for a leisurely life, its pace is not too fast.”
